Breath New Life into Your Masterpiece
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1951, Jose Maria Cammarano grew up in a family of engineers. His father, the son of Italian immigrants, was a medical device technician who also serviced cinema projectors. While his brother specialized in electronics, Jose focused on mechanical engineering. In 1974 he came to study engineering in the United States, but cut his studies short due to his father's deteriorating health. He returned as a permanent resident in 1980, now the father of two, and soon after opened his shop in Baltimore.
Always an aficionado of the automobile, Jose's first car as a teenager was a Ford model T. A Ford Model A and an all aluminum Panhard would also make their way through his garage. His first project in the United States was a complete paint job on a 1975 Porsche 911S for a lawyer friend. Soon after, word spread among the Porsche community and JMC became a trusted name for fair pricing, honest work, and top quality.
To this day, Jose continues to uphold these same standards. More than just a business transaction, working with Jose means entering into a true partnership.
